I'm a sound engineer specialized in live for almost 10 years, actually on tour with Luidji. On Luidji’s tour, Kerby's (DJ) setup consists of a macbook pro with Serato Pro DJ software, the Pionneer controller that goes with it and an Akai MPD 226.

He uses the LIOBOX to do all the track launches. He also uses it to make cuts in the production by pausing. He can also do pull ups by pressing the rewind pad twice.

Both the LIOBOX and the Akai controller are connected to a MIOXM via USB. The midi information is then converted to RTP midi, a network midi protocol, and sent to a switch. The switch is then connected to the Ableton rack switch via an rj45, which distributes to the main and spare computers.

We use on the computers the main and spare script of the LIOBOX. This allows the LIOBOX to have a feedback from each computer and to switch the display of the tracks between the main and the spare in case of failure of the first. This is a very useful feature that we did not have on previous controllers.

On this same switch I have a link to my computer at the front, which allows me to have a remote control on the Ableton, in order to be able to identify the possible breakdowns from the FOH.
